I am on the clinical staff at Promises, Malibu where I work as a Family Therapist. With over 15 years of personal recovery, I am a BBSE certified Addiction Specialist and began working in the field of substance abuse over twelve years ago. I have a Bachelors degree from New York University, a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, and I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Philosophy specializing in Spiritual Psychotherapy. Dr. Althea Solter, a colleague of Piaget, certified me as an Attachment Parenting specialist and I hold a certification from the California Probation Department as Master Domestic Violence Men’s Group Facilitator. My specialty is working with couples and families in crisis. I am extra sensitive to the numerous complexities present in couples and family work. I have had years of experience managing complicated family situations including those where cultural, financial, parenting, dual diagnosis, addiction and abuse issues have been present.
